Goshen W 93
W 93 is the fire rescue boat for the Goshen Fire Department, it is a 24 ft Lake Assault landing craft that was custom built. It replaced a smaller boat that could no longer carry the equipment that is required. The boat has been in service for a while now and has been used for several different events, including a Presidential visit and the Fourth of July fireworks on the river. W-93 was part of the rescue and salvage operation when the Blackhawk ran aground. The electronics are state of the art and from onboard the boat members of the dept can contact both fire and EMS personnel and the hospital not to mention the US Coast Guard. The electronics include a radar-GPS unit and a digital depth finder and six remote control spotlights similar to the bow mounted unit shown below.

On the bow is also a ramp that drops down to allow for loading and off-loading of equipment for dive teams etc. There are also two dive doors, one on either side amidships.

The boat has a 500 gpm fire pump connected to a large fire-fighting monitor.
The fully enclosed cabin cabin has seating for five

The boat has two 150 horsepower outboard motors
